Airdrie & District Soccer raises over $5,800 in Summer Fundraiser

Airdrie & District Soccer Association is a soccer club serving Airdrie and neighbouring areas with a fun, safe, and inclusive soccer experience for their community!

There are over 20 teams with over 200 athletes being supported from grassroots programs to competitive leagues and adult recreational soccer (for those of us who didn’t make the big leagues!)\

Big Clubs Mean Big Budgets

One challenge of running a large club is raising fees. Improving programs and being a top-notch soccer program means costs rise as they gain new equipment, improve infrastructure, and develop coaches and new programming.

We had the opportunity to speak to some of the club staff about their TeamFund Fundraiser at their most recent delivery this summer!

In their June 2023 fundraiser, the soccer club raised over $5800 to help offset registration fees.

The organizer was impressed at how organized the delivery day was, with everything quickly organized and ready to go before pick-up started.

The day was smooth and efficient, with parents arriving early to pick up their food from their Fill Your Freezer fundraiser.

We excitedly discussed the awaiting food, from cheesecakes to chicken, sausage, burgers, and other summer favourites!

TeamFund allows families to purchase practical food fundraising products online and help alleviate some of the membership fees of soccer at the same time!

Each player who participates is given a percentage of the profits that they raise and the rest goes to the club for other operational costs and financial assistance programs.

Airdrie & District Soccer has run 5 fundraising campaigns and raised over $32,000 since 2020 through TeamFund’s Fill Your Freezer fundraiser.
