About Alberta Cal Ripken Baseball 

Alberta Cal Ripken Baseball is a competitive baseball program for youth aged 8-12 in the Calgary area. Younger athletes can participate in their introduction team and try out for competitive teams as they grow into their baseball skills.

The biggest goal of the Alberta Cal Ripken Baseball organization is to provide an affordable experience for those who would like to participate in and better baseball culture in Alberta. Their primary focus in the program is development and growth, both as an athlete and a person.

As they have grown, one of the most coveted opportunities at Cal Ripken is for their elite players, who compete in the Cal Ripken World Series in the Spring and Summer each year.

“The cost of sending a team for the 10 days to represent CANADA typically costs $50 – $70K per year. It’s been the goal to send the best players to represent their country and province, however some families are not able to financially commit to the cost of training, travel, and tournaments required to prepare for the World Series.”
