Altadore Gymnastics Club Raises $25,000 Using Online Fundraising with Food

Year-over-year, Altadore Gymnastics Club teams up with TeamFund to run online fundraising campaigns to raise money to offset their competitions and facility costs. 

The club has been able to raise over $25,000 over the course of 7 fundraisers.

Altadore Gymnastics Club (AGC) is an organization rich in history as Calgary’s first gymnastics club. They provide recreational and competitive gymnastics programs for athletes of all ages. AGC is committed to being a leader in providing safe and inclusive environments to empower athletes to reach their full potential. 

Some of their athletes even go to the Olympics! 

As a non-profit, AGC relies heavily on their fundraising efforts to make it all happen. For over 5 years, Shannon has been the general and fundraising manager for AGC. Overseeing fundraising efforts means Shannon is always looking for the next best thing in fundraising. 

AGC runs multiple fundraisers every month to ensure affordable access to gymnastics programs for all. One consistently successful fundraiser for AGC is food fundraising with TeamFund. While they have tried almost every fundraiser TeamFund has, their favourite is a combination of Coco Brooks (Pizza!) and Spolumbo’s sausage. 

They are a huge club with a variety of supporters to appeal to. Altadore Gymnastics has found the best fundraising success by combining vendors to cover the widest degree of food options!

Those who participate in the online fundraisers get credits toward their accounts, and each athlete at the gym benefits.

AGC consistently raises $3000 – $6,000 per fundraiser with TeamFund.

In October 2021, they raised over $7,600!

With 3 TeamFund fundraisers a year, they raise money to support their club’s facilities, keep membership costs low, and help athletes attend competitions across the country!

In November 2022, they raised over $6000!

By always running a campaign twice a year, supporters look forward to the next time they can stock up their freezers.
